Stuart brings a deep understanding of the global dynamics across several FMCG companies to his clients.
With twenty five years as Sr. Manager, Commercial Director and later Chairman of Unilever, New Zealand, overlooking financial aspects of many of its overseas subsidiaries, Stuart is currently chair of the ASEAN New Zealand Combined Business Council and consults on Global Corporate Strategy and Risk Management. Stuart is also a visiting lecturer at Business Schools in the region.
Besides, he has served as a board member of many companies in New Zealand including Enerco New Zealand and Metrowater, for both of which he was Chairman of the Audit Committee,thus consolidating his knowledge of corporate governance. He has also been a consultant operating in South East Asia and New Zealand, working with large companies and also SMEs, from large bank and insurance companies to family owned businesses.He has also initiated start-ups and conducted research
Stuart holds a B.Sc.from the University of Birmingham with first class honours and an MBA from Cornell University in the U.S.A. He also qualified as an accountant in the U.K. As such, he is internationally recognized for his skills in developing strategic options, identifying critical issues in negotiations, defining successful negotiating strategies and motivating fragmented management groups within stressful environments to achieve aggressive goals.
Walter de Wit - Sr.Partner
A doctorate in economics, Walter initiated his career in consumer products at Philips Electronics, in the international marketing, sales and regional management positions. Subsequently, the next 15 years he worked in managing director positions for world class multinational food retailers in the Netherlands and Singapore, heading operations up to 300 stores with more than 1 billion euro sales, gaining experience in discount (Aldi), full service supermarkets (Ahold), as well as food service cash & carry (Sligro).
Walter gained valuable consulting and project management skills heading various projects in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, and is presently amongst others senior advisor for a global general merchandise trader
Arvind Nagpal - Managing Partner
Arvind brings over 24 years of general management & sales and marketing experience. He has overseen P&L as well as regional marketing functions in the Asia Pacific markets for Blue Chip Multi National Corporations. Having lived in 5 countries and managed markets spread over 11 countries, Arvind's experience spans the Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Media, Sports Marketing, Retail and Health & Wellness industries with companies such as Sheraton Hotels, Coca-Cola, ESPN and Movenpick Foods. He has been advising clients on their business & brand growth strategies with a focus on the Asia Pacific markets, in Singapore, Malaysia, India and New Zealand.
Arvind also works with the clients on their recruitment strategies for senior management across APAC markets. He possesses multiple undergraduate qualifications and an MBA with a specialization in marketing.
